Course Overview - CryEngine Game Development

This course is designed to get you up and running with CryEngine game development engine. At the end of this training, you will develop a creative 3D game of your own. You will be sown how to use several tools and be taken through installation of the game engine, terrain generation, physics, AI, testing, lighting and publishing a game for PlayStation, Xbox, PC or Nintendo.

This CryEngine course covers all the aspects of level design while training delegate designer how to achieve their goals with less effort. Even with no prior knowledge of game design, we will train you in everything you need to know about game level design, starting from scratch right through to packing up your first level to play.

In order to make your game level look presentable, the course starts off by helping you get a grasp on the basics, such as creating your first level, working with models, terrain creation, and material editing. You will then gain further knowledge of more advanced features such as creating flowgraphs and particles, adding 3D sound, and debugging your level.

By the end of this course, you will be armed with the skills you need to start creating game levels and scenes in a modern day game engine. If you bring a laptop, Mac or PC with you, then we will also be able to install the engine onto your machine.
